Set up guide & tips
What's in the box
Your kit includes the Vibe SE 2 device, one Vibe dual mesh pod (0.6 ohm and 0.8 ohm integrated), and a user manual. A USB-C cable is not included, so have one ready before you charge.
Filling the pod
The Vibe SE 2 uses a top-fill system. Drop your bottle nozzle straight into the fill port on the top of the pod without removing it from the device. Fill slowly, leave a small air gap, and reseal the port fully before vaping.
Priming your coil
Because the pod uses integrated dual mesh coils, priming properly on first use protects the coil and improves early flavour. After filling, leave the pod to sit for at least 10 minutes before your first draw. This gives the e-liquid time to saturate the mesh fully. Take a few gentle primer puffs without activating the device, then vape normally. Skipping this step is the most common reason for a burnt taste on a new pod.
Choosing the right e-liquid
The 0.8 ohm setting (ECO mode, 14W) suits a tighter MTL draw and works well with 50/50 or high-PG e-liquids, including nic salts up to 20mg/ml. The 0.6 ohm setting (Power mode, 24W) gives a slightly more open restricted lung hit and still performs well with 50/50 blends. Higher-VG shortfills are not well suited to this device at either resistance.
ECO mode vs Power mode
Flip the physical switch on the side of the device to change between modes. ECO (14W) conserves battery, tightens the draw, and works well for all-day use with nic salts. Power mode (24W) opens the draw slightly and gives a warmer, fuller vapour output. The LED turns green in ECO mode and orange-yellow in Power mode.
Charging
Plug a USB-C cable into the charging port on the side. The Vibe SE 2 charges at 1A, so it is not a fast-charge device. The LED will show battery level while charging. Use the LED guide below to monitor charge status.
LED battery indicator:
- Green: 70-100% battery
- Blue: 30-70% battery
- Red: below 30%, charge soon

- Battery-colour light flashes 5 times and device stops working The battery-level indicator light flashes 5 times and the device cuts out immediately when you try to fire it. This is the device reporting a no-load or high-resistance condition at the pod contacts.
- Device stops working and LED cycles green–blue–red The device cuts out mid-puff and the LED flashes green, blue then red in sequence. This happens when a draw or button press has lasted 8 seconds or longer.
- Green light stays on and device stops charging The green LED stays on and the device stops taking a charge. This is the over-charge protection cutting in, not a fault.
- Pod leaking e-liquid E-liquid is escaping from the pod, either around the fill port or from the base where it connects to the battery. This can happen during normal use, after filling, or when travelling.
- Red light flashes 3 times and device stops working The red indicator flashes 3 times and the device cuts out completely. This is the built-in low voltage or over-discharging protection triggering to prevent battery damage.
- Red light flashes 4 times and device stops working The red indicator light flashes 4 times and the device cuts out and stops producing vapour. This is the built-in high-temperature protection activating.
Frequently asked questions
What pods does the Vaporesso Vibe SE 2 use?
The kit ships with one Vibe dual mesh pod containing both a 0.6 ohm and 0.8 ohm coil, each used automatically depending on which mode the switch is set to. Replacement Vibe pods are available separately, including a 0.7 ohm and 1.0 ohm version better suited to a tighter MTL draw.
What e-liquid should I use with the Vibe SE 2?
A 50/50 PG/VG blend is the recommended pairing for both resistances. Nic salts work particularly well in ECO mode at 14W for a smoother, more satisfying draw. Avoid high-VG shortfills as the coils and wattage range are not suited to thicker liquids.
How do I fill the Vibe SE 2 pod?
Drop the bottle nozzle directly into the top-fill port with the pod still in the device. No need to remove the pod. Fill to just below the maximum level, reseal the port, and wait at least 10 minutes before vaping to let the mesh coil prime properly.
What is the difference between ECO mode and Power mode on the Vibe SE 2?
ECO mode runs at 14W with a tighter, more MTL-style draw and is the better choice for nic salts and longer battery life. Power mode runs at 24W with a slightly looser, warmer restricted lung hit. The physical switch on the side of the device toggles between the two.
Does the Vaporesso Vibe SE 2 come with a USB-C cable?
No. A USB-C cable is not included in the box. You will need to supply your own. The device charges at 1A via USB-C, so a standard cable from a phone or tablet will work fine.
