Vibe SE 2: Green light stays on and device stops charging
The green LED stays on and the device stops taking a charge. This is the over-charge protection cutting in, not a fault.
Why this happens
- Over-charge protection activated: the built-in protection halts charging automatically once the battery is full, leaving the green light on as a fully-charged indicator (manual LED codes: Over Charging)
How to fix it
- Disconnect from the charger as soon as the LED stays green. A solid green light means the battery is fully charged; the device has stopped charging on purpose.
- Do not leave the device plugged in indefinitely. The over-charge protection will halt charging automatically, but removing the cable promptly is the correct practice.
- Note the LED behaviour after disconnection. The green light will turn off after approximately 10 minutes once unplugged, which is normal.
- Check you are using the correct cable. The manual specifies a Type-C cable; using a different cable type may cause unexpected charging behaviour.
- If the green light stays on well after disconnecting and the battery does not appear to hold charge, contact Vaporesso support or your retailer, as the protection circuit may need assessment. Do not attempt to open or modify the device.
