Ursa Nano 3
A compact 30W pod kit with a 1200mAh battery, suits both MTL and RDL vapers, and covers the whole day on a single charge with minimal fuss.
Set up guide & tips
Filling the Pod
The Ursa Nano 3 uses a top-fill 2ml Ursa Cartridge V2, which is the TPD-compliant capacity for the UK market. To fill it, remove the pod from the device and locate the silicone fill port on the top. Pull back or lift the stopper, insert your bottle nozzle, and fill slowly to avoid air locks. Do not overfill past the max line.
Priming the Coil Before First Use
Once filled, replace the pod and leave the device to sit upright for at least ten minutes before you vape. This allows the e-liquid to saturate the coil's wicking material fully. Skipping this step on a new coil or a freshly filled pod is the most common cause of a harsh, burnt taste on the first few draws.
Choosing the Right E-Liquid
The coil resistance in the pod determines which e-liquid works best:
- 0.6Ω pod - suited to freebase nicotine e-liquids and higher-VG shortfills, works well at the higher end of the power range for a warmer RDL vape
- 0.8Ω pod - versatile middle ground, handles both freebase and nic salts, good for an airy MTL or a light RDL draw
- 1.0Ω pod - better matched to 50/50 nic salts, cooler and tighter MTL draw, ideal for switchers from cigarettes
- 1.2Ω pod - tightest MTL experience, pair with nic salts up to 20mg/ml for a cigarette-style draw
UK TPD rules cap nicotine e-liquids at 20mg/ml and refillable pods at 2ml, both of which the Nano 3 already complies with out of the box.
Adjustable Airflow
The Ursa Nano 3 has an ergonomic airflow control wheel on the body. Rotate it towards closed for a tighter, more cigarette-like MTL draw, or open it up for a looser RDL inhale. Pair your airflow setting with the appropriate coil resistance above for the best experience.
LED Battery Indicator
The side RGB light tells you where the battery stands at a glance:
- Green - battery is full
- Blue - battery is depleting, still good to vape
- Red - low battery, connect the Type-C cable to recharge
Charge using a 5V/1A charger via the Type-C port. A 5V/2A charger is also supported for faster top-ups. Note that a charging cable is not included in the box.

Frequently asked questions
What coils are compatible with the Lost Vape Ursa Nano 3?
The Ursa Nano 3 is compatible with the Ursa Cartridge V2 range, available in 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω, 1.0Ω, and 1.2Ω resistances. It also works with original Ursa Nano pods, giving you flexibility if you already have spares from a previous Ursa device.
What are the key specs of the Lost Vape Ursa Nano 3?
The Nano 3 runs a 1200mAh built-in battery with a 30W maximum output and charges via Type-C. The 2ml pod capacity is TPD compliant for the UK. Coil options cover 0.6Ω to 1.2Ω, making it usable across MTL and RDL styles.
How does the Ursa Nano 3 compare to the Ursa Nano 2?
Lost Vape quote a 30% larger battery in the Nano 3 compared to the Nano 2 (1200mAh versus 900mAh), claiming up to 35% longer operating time and improved flavour performance. It also upgrades to the Ursa Cartridge V2 system with broader coil compatibility.
Is the Ursa Nano 3 good for beginners switching from cigarettes?
Yes, particularly with the 1.0Ω or 1.2Ω pods and airflow tightened down. Pair it with a 20mg/ml nic salt for a draw that closely mimics a cigarette. The auto-draw activation means there is no button to press, which suits new vapers well.
What e-liquid should I use with the Ursa Nano 3?
It depends on the pod resistance. Nic salts work best in the 1.0Ω and 1.2Ω pods for MTL vaping. The 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω pods handle higher-VG freebase liquids or shortfills for a more open, warmer draw. Keep nicotine at or below 20mg/ml in line with UK TPD regulations.
Why does my Ursa Nano 3 taste burnt?
The most likely cause is an under-primed coil. Always fill the pod and wait at least ten minutes before vaping to let the wick saturate. A burnt taste on an older pod generally means the coil is spent and the pod needs replacing.
