Vibe SE 2: Pod leaking e-liquid
E-liquid is escaping from the pod, either around the fill port or from the base where it connects to the battery. This can happen during normal use, after filling, or when travelling.
Why this happens
- Silicone fill plug not pushed back in firmly after refilling, leaving the fill hole exposed
- Pod overfilled, leaving no air space and forcing liquid out under pressure
- Air pressure changes (such as flying or high-altitude travel) causing liquid to expand and escape
How to fix it
- Remove the pod from the battery and check the silicone plug on the side of the pod. Press it back in firmly until it sits flush and fully seals the fill hole.
- When refilling, do not fill the pod completely to the top. Leave a small air gap to prevent pressure build-up forcing liquid out.
- If you are travelling by air or in environments with significant air pressure changes, store the pod and battery separately and avoid filling the pod until you are back at normal pressure.
