What's in the box
The Armour Ultra kit ships with the Armour Ultra mod, a Vaporesso iTank T, a 0.2ohm GTi Dual Mesh coil, a 0.4ohm GTi Dual Mesh coil, a spare glass tube, spare parts, and a USB-C cable.
UK tank capacity and TPD compliance
The iTank T holds 6ml in its standard configuration, but UK TPD regulations cap e-liquid tanks at 2ml. The version sold in the UK ships with a 2ml TPD-compliant glass tube fitted. The extra glass tube included in the box is also 2ml. If you see a 6ml figure referenced elsewhere, that is the international variant.
Choosing your coil
Two GTi Dual Mesh coils are included. Both are sub-ohm and intended for DTL (direct-to-lung) vaping.
- 0.2ohm GTi Dual Mesh - higher wattage, warmer vape, denser clouds. Recommended wattage range is printed on the coil itself; follow it.
- 0.4ohm GTi Dual Mesh - slightly cooler, a touch less power-hungry, still a proper DTL experience.
Neither coil suits MTL vaping or nicotine salts above 20mg/ml. For sub-ohm DTL use, stick to freebase nicotine at 3mg or 6mg in a high-VG shortfill (70/30 VG/PG or higher). Higher-PG or salt-nic liquids will be harsh at these wattages and will burn through coils faster.
Priming the coil
- Remove the iTank T from the mod and unscrew the base.
- Fit your chosen coil into the base and hand-tighten.
- Put two or three drops of e-liquid directly onto the exposed cotton ports on the side of the coil before assembling the tank. This pre-saturates the wick and helps prevent a dry hit on first fire.
- Reassemble the tank.
Filling the tank
Push the refilling top cap open, fill e-liquid through the fill port, then lock the top cap firmly back in place once you have finished filling. Wait at least 5 minutes before firing the device. That rest time lets the e-liquid soak fully into the coil. Skipping this step is the single most common cause of a burnt first hit.
First fire and wattage
Five clicks of the fire button powers the device on and off. Start at the lower end of the coil's recommended wattage range and work up over a few sessions. The 0.96-inch TFT screen shows wattage, battery level, and your current vaping mode clearly. The Armour Ultra runs three modes: Wattage (standard), Pulse (for a slightly punchier hit), and Eco (lower power draw to extend battery life). Temperature Control is also available for compatible coils.
Charging
Charge via the USB-C port using the supplied cable. The device supports DC 9V/2A or 5V/3A fast charging, so use a quality charger that matches those specs. A basic 5V/1A phone charger will work but will charge significantly more slowly.

Can I use nicotine salts or high-strength nic in the Armour Ultra?
No. The Armour Ultra is a high-power sub-ohm DTL kit. Sub-ohm coils produce high vapour volume, which makes strong nicotine extremely harsh and potentially unsafe. Use freebase nicotine at 3mg or 6mg. UK law also caps retail e-liquid nicotine at 20mg/ml regardless of device type.
