Vibe SE 2: Device stops working and LED cycles green–blue–red
The device cuts out mid-puff and the LED flashes green, blue then red in sequence. This happens when a draw or button press has lasted 8 seconds or longer.
Why this happens
- Puff duration too long: the device has a built-in 8-second overtime cut-off that triggers automatically to prevent overheating and protect the device
- Held fire button: keeping the fire button pressed for 8 seconds or more triggers the same protection
How to fix it
- Release the draw or button immediately when you see the green-blue-red LED cycle. The cut-off has already activated, so continuing to draw will not produce vapour.
- Wait a few seconds to allow the device to reset before taking your next puff. No button combination or restart is needed.
- Take shorter puffs going forward, keeping each draw under 8 seconds. The 8-second limit is a permanent safety feature, not a fault.
- If the device does not respond after resetting, check the pod is seated correctly and the battery has charge. Charge via the Type-C cable if the LED indicates a low battery during charging.
- If the device still fails to fire after following the steps above, contact your retailer or Vaporesso support, as further investigation may be needed.
