First Use
The Nera 15K is inhale-activated, so there are no buttons to press and no settings to configure before you start. Out of the box, the pod is prefilled and the refill container is ready to attach when the pod runs low.
Inserting the Pod
Push the pod firmly into the top of the device until you feel it click into place. A loose pod is the most common cause of no vapour or a weak draw, so make sure that click is definite.
Attaching the Refill Container
Once the pod is seated, attach the 10ml refill container to the pod. Wait two to three minutes before you take your first puff. This priming time lets the mesh coil fully saturate with e-liquid, which prevents a dry, burnt taste on those early draws. Skipping it is the most common reason for a scorched flavour straight out of the packet.
Power Modes
The Nera 15K offers two modes: Normal and Boost. Normal mode gives you a tighter, more cigarette-like MTL draw with modest vapour. Boost mode increases power output for more flavour intensity and vapour volume. If you are coming from cigarettes or a smaller pod device, start on Normal and move to Boost once you are comfortable.
E-Liquid Advice
The Nera 15K uses prefilled pods with 20mg nicotine salt e-liquid, which is the TPD maximum for e-liquids sold in the UK. Nic salts deliver nicotine smoothly at higher concentrations without the harsh throat hit you would get from freebase nicotine at the same strength, making them well suited to MTL vaping and to those who have recently switched from cigarettes. You do not top up or select your own liquid with this kit. When the pod is exhausted, you replace it with a compatible Nera 15K prefilled pod.
