Vibe SE 2: Red light flashes 4 times and device stops working
The red indicator light flashes 4 times and the device cuts out and stops producing vapour. This is the built-in high-temperature protection activating.
Why this happens
- The device has exceeded its safe operating temperature, triggering the high-temperature cut-off
- Leaving the device in direct sunlight, for example on a windowsill or in a hot car
- Using the device in an environment with ambient temperatures above 60 °C
- Prolonged heavy use causing the device body to overheat
How to fix it
- Stop vaping immediately when you see the 4-flash red warning. Do not attempt to take another puff.
- Move the device to a cool, shaded spot away from direct sunlight and any heat sources. A room-temperature surface indoors is ideal.
- Leave the device to cool down fully before using it again. Do not place it in a freezer or submerge it in water to speed up cooling.
- Check where you have been storing or using the device. The recommended operating range is -10 to 60 °C, so avoid hot pockets, dashboards, windowsills or anywhere that traps heat.
- Once the device has returned to a normal temperature, try a short puff. If the red light flashes 4 times again immediately, stop use and contact Vaporesso support or the retailer, as the device may need to be replaced.
