NeXLIM 2 Mini

A compact aluminium pod kit with eco and boost modes, adjustable airflow, and dual mesh pods, suited to MTL and RDL vapers who want all-day performance in a lightweight build.

Set up guide & tips

What's in the box

Your kit ships with the NeXLIM 2 Mini device and a pre-installed 0.8Ω UniTech 3.0 pod. A Type-C charging cable is not included, so have one ready before you start.

Filling the pod

The NeXLIM 2 Mini uses a top-fill pod. Remove the pod from the device, locate the silicone fill port on the top, and fill slowly to avoid air locks. The UK-compliant pod holds 2ml. Replacement 4ml pods are available separately but are not sold in the UK market under TPD rules, so all retail stock here comes with the 2ml version.

After filling a new pod, wait at least 5 to 8 minutes before taking your first vape. This coil priming time lets the e-liquid saturate the dual mesh coil fully. Skipping this step is the main cause of a harsh, burnt first hit.

Eco and Boost modes

The NeXLIM 2 Mini has a capacitive touch button on the body. Double-tap it to toggle between Eco mode (lower wattage, longer battery life) and Boost mode (higher wattage, warmer and denser vapour). A rainbow light flash confirms you have switched mode. The device also adjusts power automatically within the 5 to 30W range based on the coil fitted, so manual wattage adjustment is not required unless you want to fine-tune.

Choosing the right e-liquid and pod

The three available NeXLIM pods suit different vaping styles and nicotine types:

  • 0.6Ω pod (black) - rated 20 to 40W, restricted DTL. Pair with a 70/30 VG/PG freebase shortfill or a lower-strength nic salt (10mg or below) because the warmer, airier draw delivers nicotine efficiently.
  • 0.8Ω pod (orange) - rated 12 to 32W, MTL to RDL. A versatile middle ground. Works well with 50/50 e-liquids, freebase at 3mg to 6mg, or nic salts up to 20mg.
  • 1.2Ω pod (green) - rated 10 to 25W, MTL. The tightest draw. Best matched with nic salts at 10mg to 20mg or higher-PG 50/50 freebase liquids. The cooler, restricted draw handles nicotine delivery smoothly without harshness.

The kit ships with the 0.8Ω pod, which is a sensible starting point for most switchers from cigarettes. Learn more in our liquid matching guide.

Airflow adjustment

The NeXLIM 2 Mini has a physical airflow control slider. Open it fully for a more direct, airy draw with the 0.6Ω pod, or close it down for a tighter mouth-to-lung pull with the 1.2Ω pod. Airflow preference is personal, but if you are used to the draw on a cigarette, start with the slider about halfway closed and adjust from there.

Charging

Charge via the Type-C port at the bottom of the device using a 5V/2A adaptor. The LED indicator shows battery level: green for 65 to 100%, blue for 30 to 65%, and red for below 30%. If the red light flashes 10 times, the battery needs charging before you can continue vaping.

Troubleshooting

Frequently asked questions

What pods are compatible with the NeXLIM 2 Mini?

The NeXLIM 2 Mini takes the OXVA NeXLIM UniTech 3.0 pod range in three resistances: 0.6Ω for RDL, 0.8Ω for MTL to RDL, and 1.2Ω for MTL. The 0.8Ω pod comes in the box. All pods feature dual mesh coils and a threefold anti-leak design.

How do I switch between Eco and Boost mode?

Double-tap the capacitive touch button on the side of the device. A rainbow light flash confirms the mode has changed. Eco mode conserves battery; Boost mode increases output for warmer, more intense vapour. The NeXLIM 2 Mini does not have a screen, so the LED colour change is your only on-device confirmation.

Why is my NeXLIM 2 Mini flashing red?

It depends on the pattern. Red flashing 10 times means the battery is low and needs charging. Red flashing 3 times and cutting out indicates a high temperature protection trigger, so let the device cool down before vaping again. Red flashing 3 times without a vape attempt points to a short circuit, which usually means reseating or replacing the pod.

The device cuts out after 8 seconds. Is that normal?

Yes. If the blue light flashes 3 times and the device stops mid-draw, you have hit the 8-second puff cut-off. This is a standard safety protection built into the chipset. Release the airflow, wait a moment, and begin a new draw. It is not a fault.

What e-liquid should I use with the NeXLIM 2 Mini?

For the included 0.8Ω pod, a 50/50 or 60/40 VG/PG e-liquid works well, either freebase at 3 to 6mg or a nic salt up to 20mg. High-VG shortfills above 70% VG are too thick for the 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω pods and will cause dry hits. The 0.6Ω pod can handle higher-VG liquids more comfortably.
