Vibe SE 2: Red light flashes 3 times and device stops working
The red indicator flashes 3 times and the device cuts out completely. This is the built-in low voltage or over-discharging protection triggering to prevent battery damage.
Why this happens
- Battery charge is too low for the device to operate safely, triggering the low voltage cut-off
- Over-discharging has occurred, meaning the battery has been drained beyond its safe operating threshold
How to fix it
- Connect the device to a power source immediately using the Type-C cable supplied with the device. Do not continue attempting to fire it before charging.
- Watch the LED indicator during charging. It will show the current battery level as it charges.
- Leave the device on charge until the LED indicator turns green, which confirms the battery is fully charged. Note that the LED will switch off automatically after approximately 10 minutes once fully charged.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the cable and test the device. If the red 3-flash warning still appears after a full charge, stop using the device and contact the retailer or Vaporesso support, as the battery may need professional assessment.
- To avoid this happening again, charge the device before the battery is fully depleted and store it within the recommended temperature range of -10 to 45°C. Avoid leaving it in direct sunlight or in very cold conditions, as extreme temperatures affect battery performance.
