The PIXL 5000 uses a two-part pod system. There is no filling involved, but the first-time assembly takes a couple of steps to get right.
Assembling Your First Pod
- Pull the small plug from the base of the 4ml refill container.
- Press the 2ml pod and the refill container together until they click into one unit.
- Slot the assembled pod into the kit body and push down until it seats flush.
- Wait two to three minutes before your first draw. This gives the e-liquid time to saturate the mesh coil properly and avoids a dry, harsh hit on the first pull.
The refill container feeds e-liquid up into the pod automatically as the level in the pod drops. You do not need to do anything to keep it topped up during use.
Draw Activation
There is no fire button. Simply inhale on the mouthpiece and the device fires. Nothing to unlock, nothing to adjust.
Battery and Charging
The 800mAh integrated battery charges via USB-C and takes around 35 minutes from flat. A cable is not included in the box, so have a USB-C cable to hand before you start. The LED screen displays the battery level as a percentage, so you can see exactly where you are.
Which E-Liquid Does the PIXL 5000 Use?
It does not use separate e-liquid. The pod and refill container come prefilled with 20mg nicotine salt in a 50/50 VG/PG ratio. When the pack runs dry, you swap to a fresh pod and refill unit. This keeps the experience clean and consistent, with no measuring or topping up required.
The 50/50 blend and 1.1-ohm mesh coil deliver a tighter, mouth-to-lung draw that suits nic salts well. At 20mg, the throat hit is smooth rather than sharp, which makes it comfortable for all-day use.
