Charging First
The XROS 6 Mini charges via USB-C. If you are setting it up fresh out of the box, give it a full charge before your first vape. Note that a USB-C cable is not included in the box, so have one ready.
Filling the Pod
The XROS 6 Mini uses top-fill Vaporesso XROS Corex pods. To fill:
- Remove the mouthpiece to reveal the fill port.
- Fill with your chosen e-liquid, taking care not to overfill.
- Replace the mouthpiece firmly until it seats flush.
The pod holds 2ml of e-liquid, keeping it compliant with UK TPD regulations.
Priming the Coil
The XROS 6 Mini features a 60-second Smart Prime function. Insert the filled pod into the device, then activate the prime sequence. This saturates the coil quickly and helps avoid dry hits on the first draw. Even with Smart Prime, letting the pod sit for a few minutes after the cycle completes does no harm, particularly with thicker e-liquids.
First time with a new pod? Always prime before vaping. Skipping this step is the most common cause of a burnt taste on a fresh coil.
Choosing the Right E-Liquid
The coil resistance included in the box determines which e-liquid works best:
- 0.6 ohm pod (included): Best suited to 50/50 or higher-PG nic salt e-liquids. Nic salts up to 20mg/ml work well here and deliver a smooth, satisfying MTL draw.
- 0.4 ohm pod (sold separately): Handles higher-VG liquids better and gives a slightly looser, more restricted DTL draw.
- 0.8 ohm, 1.0 ohm and 1.2 ohm pods (sold separately): Higher resistances suit a tighter MTL draw and pair well with nic salts at 10mg or 20mg/ml.
If you are coming straight from cigarettes, the 0.6 ohm pod with an 18mg or 20mg nic salt is where most people start.
Airflow and Power Modes
The side-mounted airflow slider adjusts your draw from a tight, cigarette-like MTL through to a slightly looser restricted draw. Start tighter and open it up gradually until it feels right for you. The XROS 6 Mini runs Eco Mode and Power Mode, switchable with two short puffs. Eco Mode conserves battery; Power Mode pushes slightly harder for more flavour intensity.
Battery Indicator
Five LED lights on the device show your battery level in roughly 20% increments. Five lights on means 80-100% charged; one light means you are below 20% and should think about plugging in.
