Vinci E80
An 80W pod kit built around a 3000mAh battery, the Vinci E80 suits experienced vapers who want adjustable power and all-day runtime without carrying a separate box mod.
Set up guide & tips
What's in the box
Your Vinci E80 kit arrives with two Vinci E pod cartridges already included: a 0.3ohm for direct-to-lung (DTL) use and a 0.6ohm for restricted direct-to-lung (RDL). You also get a USB-C cable, a PnP X platform card, and a user manual. You just need to supply your e-liquid.
Filling the pod
The Vinci E80 uses a top-fill system. Open the lid on the filling port on the top of the pod, then fill with your chosen e-liquid. Voopoo recommend keeping the pod around two-thirds full rather than topping it right to the brim. Once filled, replace the lid firmly.
Priming before first use
After filling and installing the pod, stand the device upright for approximately five minutes before you take your first puff. This gives the Golden Cotton wicking material time to fully saturate. Skipping this step risks a dry hit that can leave a burnt taste and shorten the coil's lifespan.
Choosing the right e-liquid
The pod you use changes which e-liquid works best:
- 0.3ohm Vinci E cartridge (DTL): Use a high-VG shortfill or 50/50 freebase e-liquid at 3mg or 6mg. Higher VG blends (70VG/30PG and above) suit this pod well and produce a fuller, warmer vapour. Avoid high-nicotine nic salts at this resistance.
- 0.6ohm Vinci E cartridge (RDL): This is the better fit for nicotine salts at 10mg or 20mg, or a 50/50 freebase at 6mg if you prefer a lighter throat hit. The tighter draw suits salt-based e-liquids particularly well.
UK TPD note: The pod sold in the UK holds 2ml of e-liquid in line with TPD regulations. The 5ml version is not available for UK sale. This simply means you will refill slightly more often, but the pod and device performance are otherwise identical.
Adjusting power and airflow
The Vinci E80 has a smart auto power matching feature that reads your coil resistance and recommends a starting wattage. You can accept that or fine-tune manually using the up and down buttons. The sliding airflow control is on the side of the device. Opening it up gives a more airy DTL draw; closing it down tightens it for RDL. Start mid-range and adjust from there.
Locking the device
A dedicated locking switch prevents accidental firing in a pocket or bag. Use it whenever the device is not in active use rather than powering down completely. It is a small detail that saves battery and avoids surprises.
PnP X compatibility
Alongside the dedicated Vinci E cartridges, the E80 is compatible with Voopoo's PnP X platform. PnP X pods accept a range of replaceable coils (0.15ohm down to 0.6ohm) and offer a different usage pattern: you replace the coil rather than the whole pod. This gives you more flexibility if you already have PnP X coils in your kit bag.

- Screen shows '20% Low Power' or battery is low The screen is displaying '20% Low Power', warning you the battery is running low. The device needs charging before the battery cuts out entirely.
- Screen shows 'Atomizer Short' The screen displays 'Atomizer Short' and the device stops firing. This is a protection alert telling you the mod has detected an electrical short in the coil or pod connection.
- Screen shows 'Check Battery' The screen displays 'Check Battery' when you try to use the device. The device may not fire or may shut down shortly after the message appears.
- Screen shows 'Temp High' The screen displays 'Temp High' and the device stops firing. This is a built-in safety cut-off triggered when the internal temperature goes outside the safe operating range.
- Screen shows 'Time Out' and device stops firing The screen displays 'Time Out' and the device stops firing mid-use. This is a built-in safety cut-off, not a fault.
Frequently asked questions
What pods and coils are compatible with the Voopoo Vinci E80?
The Vinci E80 ships with two Vinci E cartridges (0.3ohm and 0.6ohm) that use a built-in fixed coil. It is also fully compatible with Voopoo's PnP X platform pods, which take replaceable PnP X coils ranging from 0.15ohm up to 0.6ohm, giving you a wider choice of vaping styles.
Does the Voopoo Vinci E80 come in a 5ml pod version?
The 5ml pod is the standard and US version. In the UK, the Vinci E80 is sold with a 2ml pod cartridge to comply with TPD regulations. Performance is not affected, you simply refill more frequently. Replacement 2ml Vinci E cartridges are available separately.
What colours does the Voopoo Vinci E80 come in?
The Vinci E80 is available in seven finishes: Spray Black, Gold, Green, Metal Grey, Orange-Red Gradient, Purple-Gold Gradient, and Rose Red. The gradient options have a shimmer effect that catches the light, while the solid colours have a cleaner, more understated look.
Is the Voopoo Vinci E80 button fire or auto draw?
The Vinci E80 is a button-fire device. There is a fire button on the side of the device, and a separate locking switch to prevent accidental activation. There is no auto-draw sensor on this kit.
How long does the Vinci E80 battery last, and how do I charge it?
The built-in 3000mAh battery is one of the larger capacities you will find in a pod kit, comfortably covering a full day for most users. Charge via USB-C at 5V/2A. Battery level is displayed on the 1.47-inch TFT colour screen alongside a low power warning when you drop below 20%.
What do the warning messages on the Vinci E80 screen mean?
The screen displays plain-text alerts rather than blink codes, which makes troubleshooting straightforward. Key messages are: Check Atomizer (pod not seated correctly or coil issue), Atomizer Short (potential short circuit, remove and reseat the pod), Temp High (device is overheating, let it cool), and Time Out (continuous fire over the cut-off limit, release and refire). A 20% Low Power alert tells you to charge before the battery runs flat.
