Set up guide & tips

What's in the box

You get the Vinci Spark 220 mod, the Uforce-X tank (2ml TPD version), a 0.15 ohm PnP X coil, a 0.3 ohm PnP X coil, a spare glass tube, a USB-C cable, and a user manual. Two 18650 batteries are not included and need to be sourced separately. Use quality cells from a reputable supplier and make sure they are in good condition before first use.

Fitting the batteries

Open the magnetic battery cover on the back of the mod. Insert two 18650 batteries observing the polarity markings inside the bay. Snap the cover back on. The 1.47 inch screen shows individual charge levels for both cells, so you can spot any imbalance early.

Installing the coil

Unscrew the base of the Uforce-X tank to access the coil seat. Press the PnP X coil in from the bottom of the tank until it clicks into place. There is no threading, it is a press-fit design. Screw the base back on.

Which coil to start with: The 0.3 ohm coil at 32 to 40W is a good starting point if you are new to the Spark 220 or returning from a lower-powered kit. The 0.15 ohm coil at 60 to 80W produces more vapour and suits vapers who already know their preferred wattage range.

Priming and filling

Before firing, prime the coil to avoid dry hits. Push the slide top cap sideways to expose the filling port. Add a few drops of e-liquid directly onto the exposed cotton wick inside the coil, then fill the tank through the filling port. Voopoo recommend keeping the tank at least two-thirds full during use. Close the top cap, then leave the device to sit for approximately five minutes before your first puff. This lets the e-liquid fully saturate the coil.

Which e-liquid to use

The PnP X coils at 0.15 and 0.3 ohm are direct-to-lung coils designed for high-VG e-liquids, typically 70/30 VG/PG or higher. Thin, high-PG e-liquids can cause flooding and shorten coil life at these resistances. Use a 70/30 or Max VG shortfill, and at 2ml TPD capacity you will be refilling regularly. Keep a bottle handy.

Nicotine level: At sub-ohm wattages, 3mg or 6mg freebase nicotine is typically sufficient. The high vapour volume makes higher strengths harsh and unnecessary. UK TPD rules cap nicotine e-liquids at 20mg/ml in any case, and at these wattages you would not want anything close to that.

Using Smart, RBA, and TC modes

Set the Spark 220 to Smart mode for everyday sub-ohm vaping. The GENE.AI 2.0 chipset reads the coil resistance and sets a recommended wattage automatically. You can adjust within a suggested range. Switch to RBA mode for full manual control up to 220W. TC mode works with nickel (Ni200), titanium, SS316, and SS430 wire, holding a set temperature between 100 and 315 degrees C. TC is not relevant to the standard PnP X coils included in the box, which are kanthal-style mesh coils.

LED lights

The 84 LEDs in the body animate when you fire the device and at idle. If you want to extend battery life between charges, the LEDs can be toggled off in the menu settings.

Troubleshooting

Frequently asked questions

What does the Voopoo Vinci Spark 220 come with?

The kit includes the Spark 220 mod, the Uforce-X tank at 2ml TPD capacity, a 0.15 ohm PnP X coil, a 0.3 ohm PnP X coil, a spare glass tube, a USB-C cable, and a user manual. Two 18650 batteries are not included and must be purchased separately.

What coils fit the Voopoo Vinci Spark 220?

The Spark 220 and Uforce-X tank use PnP X coils, available from 0.15 ohm up to 0.6 ohm. The 0.15 and 0.3 ohm coils ship in the box. The wider PnP X range also includes 0.2, 0.45, and 0.6 ohm options for different wattage and airflow preferences.

Why is the Voopoo Vinci Spark 220 tank only 2ml?

The 2ml capacity is the UK TPD-compliant version. TPD rules limit refillable tank capacity to 2ml in the United Kingdom. Voopoo's standard and US versions hold 5.5ml, but those are not legal to sell here. The 2ml tank performs identically; you just refill it more often.

What batteries does the Voopoo Spark 220 need?

It takes two 18650 batteries, sold separately. Use quality cells with an adequate continuous discharge rating for the wattage you plan to run. The magnetic cover makes swapping quick, and the screen shows each cell's charge level individually so you can manage them properly.

Can you charge the Voopoo Vinci Spark 220 through the mod?

Yes, via the USB-C port at 5V/3A. Charging through the mod is convenient for top-ups, but dedicated external 18650 chargers give you better cell longevity and let you keep a spare pair charged and ready. If you vape heavily at higher wattages, an external charger is worth considering.

How long do PnP X coils last in the Vinci Spark 220?

Approximately 100ml of e-liquid per coil, though this varies with wattage and how sweet your e-liquid is. Keep the tank reasonably full, avoid dry firing, and prime properly on installation. Signs of a worn coil include a burnt taste, reduced flavour, and darker e-liquid in the tank.
