What's in the box
The Gotek Pro 2 arrives with a Gotek V2 pod already installed. The pod contains an integrated 0.8ohm mesh coil, so there is no separate coil to fit or prime in the traditional sense. You are ready to fill and vape straight away.
Filling the pod
The Gotek V2 pod fills from a side port. Tilt the device slightly, open the side fill port, and add your e-liquid steadily until the pod is full. The transparent casing lets you see the level clearly. Replace the fill cap firmly before vaping.
After filling, wait two to three minutes before your first draw. This gives the mesh coil time to saturate fully and avoids a dry, burnt taste on that first inhale.
Choosing the right e-liquid
50/50 freebase or nic salts are the correct choice here. The Gotek V2 mesh coil is designed for e-liquids up to around 50 percent VG. High-VG shortfills at 60 percent VG and above are too thick for the coil to wick quickly enough, and you will get dry hits as a result.
- 0.8ohm pod (included): Use a 50/50 e-liquid or a nic salt. MTL draw, works well with 10 to 20mg nic salt for ex-smokers.
- 0.6ohm pod (sold separately): Still use 50/50 or a max 50 percent VG liquid. Draw is slightly more open, RDTL style.
- 1.0ohm prefilled Gotek pods (sold separately): These come pre-loaded, no filling required.
Selecting your power mode
Triple-click the power button to cycle between ECO, NOR and MAX. ECO conserves battery and gives a gentler draw. NOR is the balanced everyday setting most vapers will stay on. MAX pushes a little harder for increased flavour intensity. The segment display shows your current mode and battery percentage at a glance.
Airflow
The airflow slider sits at the base of the device. Slide it towards closed for a tighter, more cigarette-style MTL draw, or open it up for a looser, airier inhale. It is worth adjusting this alongside your power mode to find the combination that suits you.
Charging
Charge via the Type-C port at up to 2A. Avoid leaving the device on charge overnight once full, as with any built-in battery kit.

Yes. The Gotek Pro 2 is fully backwards compatible with the wider Gotek pod ecosystem, including the original 0.6ohm and 0.8ohm refillable pods and the 1.0ohm prefilled Gotek cartridges, as well as the newer Gotek V2 pods in 0.6ohm and 0.8ohm.
Why does my Gotek Pro 2 taste burnt?
A burnt taste almost always means the coil is not wicking fast enough. The most common cause is using a high-VG e-liquid, anything above 50 percent VG. Stick to 50/50 or nic salt liquids, and always wait two to three minutes after filling before vaping. Chaining puffs without a short pause can also cause the same issue.
What e-liquid should I use in the Aspire Gotek Pro 2?
Use a 50/50 freebase e-liquid or a nic salt. High-VG shortfills at 60 percent VG or above will not wick properly through the mesh coil and will produce dry hits. For ex-smokers, a 10 to 20mg nic salt on the 0.8ohm pod gives a satisfying throat hit without harshness.
Can I adjust the draw on the Gotek Pro 2?
Yes, from two angles. The bottom airflow slider controls how much air enters the draw, from tight MTL to a slightly airier RDTL feel. The power button lets you triple-click between ECO, NOR and MAX output. Combining a more open airflow with MAX mode gives the most vapour; tightening the airflow on ECO gives the most cigarette-like draw.
