Vinci E120

A 120W pod kit with a 4500mAh internal battery and full PnP X coil compatibility, suited to DTL and RDL vapers who want box-mod power in a pod format.

Set up guide & tips

Installing the Coil

The Vinci E120 uses the PnP X pod system with a push-fit coil. Remove the pod from the device first, then insert your chosen coil from the bottom of the pod. Press it in firmly until it sits flush and level with the pod base. A coil that is not properly seated will fire inconsistently or not at all.

Two coils come in the box: a 0.15 ohm and a 0.3 ohm, both DTL-rated and designed to run at the higher end of the wattage range.

Priming the Coil

Before you fill the pod, prime the coil. Add two or three drops of e-liquid directly onto the exposed cotton ports on the side of the coil head, then let it sit for five to ten minutes after filling. Skipping this step, especially on the 0.15 ohm coil at high wattage, risks a burnt hit that can ruin the coil immediately.

Filling the Pod

Open the top-fill port lid on the pod. Voopoo recommends filling to around two-thirds capacity rather than brimming it. This leaves a small air gap and tends to reduce leaking. Close the lid firmly before reinserting the pod into the device.

UK TPD note: The pod included in the UK TPD version holds 2ml of e-liquid, which is standard for any refillable vape sold in the UK. You will be refilling more frequently than users with the non-TPD version, but the coil and filling process are identical.

Which E-Liquid to Use

DTL vaping (0.15 ohm or 0.3 ohm coils): Use a high-VG e-liquid, typically 70VG/30PG or above. Shortfill 50ml or 100ml bottles are the practical choice at this format. Stick to freebase nic at 3mg or 6mg, or a low-strength nic salt if you prefer a smoother hit. At these resistances and wattages, high-VG liquid produces the vapour volume the coils are built for and keeps the cotton wicking properly.

MTL or RDL vaping (higher resistance PnP X coils, purchased separately): Drop down to a 50/50 or salt-based e-liquid. Nic salts at 10mg or 20mg work well if you want a throat hit closer to a cigarette. The thinner liquid wicks faster through tighter coil cotton and suits the lower wattage settings you would use with these coils.

Frequently asked questions

What pods and coils does the Voopoo Vinci E120 use?

The Vinci E120 is compatible with the full PnP X coil range, covering DTL, RDL, and MTL resistances from 0.15 ohm up. The kit ships with a 0.15 ohm and a 0.3 ohm PnP X coil. It also accepts Vinci E integrated coil pods if you prefer that style. Coils are push-fit with no threading.

What is the pod capacity on the Vinci E120?

The UK TPD version of the Vinci E120 pod holds 2ml of e-liquid, which is the legal maximum for a refillable pod sold in the UK. A non-TPD standard version uses a 5ml pod. Both pods use the same top-fill system and PnP X coils.

What wattage should I run the Vinci E120 at?

With the included 0.15 ohm coil, most vapers settle between 60W and 90W. The 0.3 ohm coil tends to suit 40W to 60W. Voopoo's GENE.TT 2.0 chipset will suggest a wattage when it reads the coil resistance, so use that as your starting point and adjust from there.

How long does the 4500mAh battery last?

At moderate DTL wattages, 60W to 80W, most vapers get a full day from a single charge. At lower MTL wattages the battery will last considerably longer. Charging via Type-C at 5V/2A is reasonably quick for a battery this size. Voopoo recommends using the included Type-C cable for best results.

What colours does the Voopoo Vinci E120 come in?

The Vinci E120 is available in several finishes, including textured black, purple, magenta, light blue, silver, and dark grey options. Stock varies by retailer and changes over time, so check the current listings for which colours are available in the UK right now.

Can I use nic salts in the Voopoo Vinci E120?

Yes, with the right coil. On the included 0.15 ohm and 0.3 ohm DTL coils, stick to freebase nic at low strengths. If you fit a higher resistance PnP X MTL coil, nic salts at 10mg or 20mg are perfectly suited and will give a more satisfying throat hit at the lower wattages those coils run at.
