IVG Pro 2
A prefilled pod kit built around a 2ml pod and 10ml refill container system, suited to MTL vapers who want long-lasting flavour and a straightforward, no-fuss setup.
Set up guide & tips
The IVG Pro 2 uses a two-part pod system. Each refill pack includes a 2ml prefilled pod containing the mesh coil and a 10ml refill container that feeds e-liquid into it. They ship separately packaged, so you need to connect them before inserting into the device.
First Use
Before you do anything, strip off all the stickers, peel-off seals and rubber plugs from both the pod and the refill container. There is also a small screen protector on the device itself worth removing at this stage.
Connecting the Pod and Refill Container
- Line up the 2ml pod and the 10ml refill container so the connectors are facing each other.
- Press them firmly together until you feel and hear a click. If it hasn't clicked, it isn't seated properly and e-liquid won't flow.
- Slide the combined pod and container assembly into the opening on the Pro 2 device until it locks in.
Priming the Coil
Once assembled, leave it to sit for a couple of minutes before drawing. The mesh coil needs time to saturate fully with e-liquid. Skipping this step risks a dry hit on your first draw, which tastes unpleasant and can shorten coil life. After that short wait, draw directly on the mouthpiece. There are no buttons to press to vape. The device is auto-draw activated.
E-Liquid
The IVG Pro 2 is a closed system. You cannot manually refill the pod with your own e-liquid. All pods and refill containers are prefilled by IVG. Replacement refill packs are available at 20mg/ml, 10mg/ml and 0mg/ml nicotine strengths. The 20mg and 10mg options use nicotine salt, which sits comfortably at MTL draw strength and delivers a smooth throat hit. The 0mg option is there if you are stepping down your nicotine.
The 2ml pod capacity is fully TPD compliant. The 10ml refill container feeds the pod as you vape, meaning you get significantly more use before needing a replacement pack without breaching the 2ml maximum capacity rule at any point.
Charging
Charge via USB Type-C. A cable is not included in the box, so have one ready. The device has a touchscreen display that shows battery level, which is handy for knowing when to plug in before you head out.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the IVG Pro and the IVG Pro 2?
The core hardware and pod system are identical. Both use the same 2ml pods and 10ml refill containers, and the pods are fully cross-compatible between the two devices. The main difference is the display. The Pro 2 has a full touchscreen that shows battery level and an animation, whereas the original Pro has a small indicator light only.
How long does the IVG Pro 2 pod last?
IVG rates the combined 2ml pod and 10ml refill container at approximately 10,000 puffs. Actual usage varies depending on how long your draws are and how often you vape, but for most moderate vapers it should comfortably last several days before you need a replacement pack.
Can I use any IVG Pro pods with the Pro 2 device?
Yes. Any pod or refill container labelled for the IVG Pro range will fit and work in the Pro 2. IVG sells a wide range of replacement refill packs in different flavours and nicotine strengths, including 20mg, 10mg and 0mg options, all of which are compatible.
Does the IVG Pro 2 need a button to fire?
No. The Pro 2 is inhale activated, so you just draw on the mouthpiece and it fires automatically. There is a button on the touchscreen display, but that is used to wake the screen and trigger the animation rather than to activate vaping.
How do I check the battery on the IVG Pro 2?
Tap the button in the centre of the touchscreen to wake the display. The screen shows your current battery level. The display goes into sleep mode after around three minutes of inactivity to conserve battery, so a quick tap brings it back.
Is the IVG Pro 2 pod above the 2ml TPD limit?
No. The vaping pod itself holds 2ml, which is the maximum allowed under UK TPD regulations. The 10ml refill container is a separate reservoir that tops up the pod as you use it. At no point does the active vaping capacity exceed 2ml, keeping the system fully compliant.
