XROS 5 Mini: Four lights flash 2 times and the device stops working
All four LED indicators flash together twice and the device shuts off and refuses to fire. This is the low voltage or over-discharging warning, meaning the battery has dropped too low to operate safely.
Why this happens
- Battery has been fully depleted through normal use without recharging in time
- Device was stored for an extended period without being charged, allowing the battery to self-discharge below a safe operating level
- Device was not turned off when not in use, draining the battery passively
How to fix it
- Connect the included Type-C cable to the device and plug the other end into a standard USB charger rated at 2A. Do not use a non-standard or high-wattage fast charger beyond the rated spec.
- Watch the LED indicators: they will flash in sequence from 1 to 4 lights while charging is in progress, confirming the device is receiving power.
- Leave the device to charge undisturbed. The manual advises not to leave a charging device unattended, so check on it periodically.
- Charging is complete when all four LED indicators stay on steadily rather than flashing. The device is now ready to use.
- If the LEDs do not respond at all after connecting the cable, check that the Type-C port and the connection pins between the battery and pod are clean and free from e-liquid residue. The manual specifically notes keeping these pins clean for best performance.
- If the device still shows no response after a full charge cycle, the battery may be damaged beyond recovery. Do not attempt to open or repair the device yourself. Contact Vaporesso support or return the device for assessment.
