XROS 5 Mini: Four lights flash 3 times and the device stops working
All four LED indicators flash together three times and the device cuts out. This is the built-in high-temperature protection activating to prevent damage.
Why this happens
- The device has exceeded its safe operating temperature, triggering the thermal cut-off
- Use in a hot environment, such as direct sunlight or a warm car, has raised the internal temperature above the safe threshold
- Prolonged continuous vaping sessions can build up heat inside the device
- Storage in conditions outside the recommended 10–40°C range before use
How to fix it
- Stop vaping immediately and set the device down on a flat surface away from direct sunlight or any heat source
- Allow it to cool down fully before attempting to use it again, the thermal protection will not clear until the temperature drops
- Check where you have been using or storing it: the recommended operating and storage temperature range is 10–40°C, so avoid leaving it in a hot car, on a sunny windowsill or near any heat source
- Once the device feels cool to the touch, try firing it again. If the three-flash pattern repeats immediately, move to a cooler environment and wait longer before retrying
- If the device continues to show the three-flash cut-off after cooling down fully in a normal indoor environment, contact Vaporesso support or the retailer, as the device should only be repaired by Vaporesso
