NeXLIM 2: Screen shows 'NO POD' or device not detecting the pod

The screen displays 'NO POD' and the device will not fire. The pod is physically seated in the device but is not being recognised.

Why this happens

  • Dirty or contaminated contact pins on the device or the base of the pod, preventing a clean electrical connection
  • Pod not fully seated or clicked into place
  • Damaged or worn pod that the device cannot detect
  • E-liquid residue or condensation on the contacts after filling or use

How to fix it

  1. Remove the pod and inspect the metal contact pins on the device and the base of the pod. Clean both sets of contacts thoroughly with a clean dry cloth or a cloth lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Allow them to dry completely before reinserting the pod.
  2. Reinsert the pod firmly until it clicks into place. A partial connection is enough to trigger the NO POD warning.
  3. If the screen still shows NO POD, try a different pod to rule out a fault with the original cartridge.
  4. If a replacement pod is also not detected, the device contact pins may be damaged or bent. Contact OXVA support or your retailer for further assistance.
