XROS 5 Nano: Screen shows 'OVER HEAT' and device stops working
The screen displays 'OVER HEAT' and the device cuts out completely. This is the built-in high temperature protection activating to keep you safe.
Why this happens
- The device or its surroundings have exceeded the safe operating temperature of 40°C, triggering the thermal protection cut-off
- The device has been left in direct sunlight, for example on a windowsill, in a car, or outdoors in warm weather
- The device has been stored or used in an environment below 10°C or above 40°C, outside the recommended range
- The device has been carried in a pocket or bag next to a heat source
How to fix it
- Stop using the device immediately and move it to a cool, shaded area away from direct sunlight or any heat source
- Allow the device to cool down naturally until it returns to within the recommended range of 10 to 40°C, then try using it again
- Do not expose the device to direct sunlight, dust, moisture or mechanical shock during storage or everyday carry
- When storing the device, keep it within the recommended temperature range of 10 to 40°C
- If the 'OVER HEAT' warning continues to appear after the device has had adequate time to cool, stop using it and contact Vaporesso support, as only Vaporesso should carry out any repairs
