Xlim Pro 3: Device shows 'TEMP HIGH'
The device displays a high temperature or overheating warning and stops firing. This usually happens mid-session and clears once the device has cooled down.
Why this happens
- Chain vaping without pauses between puffs, which builds up heat in the device and pod
- Using the device in a hot environment, such as direct sunlight or a warm car
- A worn or faulty pod drawing more power than normal, generating excess heat
How to fix it
- Stop vaping immediately and set the device down somewhere cool and dry. Do not attempt to fire it while the warning is showing.
- Wait several minutes for the device to return to a safe temperature. The warning should clear on its own once it has cooled sufficiently.
- Move to a cooler environment if you are in direct sunlight, a hot car, or anywhere with high ambient temperature.
- When you resume vaping, take longer pauses between puffs to prevent heat from building up again. Avoid rapid back-to-back draws.
- If the warning returns quickly after cooling, inspect your pod. An old or damaged pod can draw excess power and cause overheating. Replace the pod and test again.
