NeXLIM 2 Mini: Red light flashes 3 times and device stops working
The LED flashes red three times and the device cuts out mid-vape. This is the built-in high-temperature protection triggering to keep the device safe.
Why this happens
- The device has detected an internal temperature that is too high, most likely from extended or back-to-back vaping sessions
- Chain vaping without short breaks causes heat to build up in the coil and body faster than it can dissipate
- A chain of long puffs beyond the 8-second cut-off limit can accelerate heat build-up
How to fix it
- Stop vaping immediately and power the device off as soon as the three red flashes appear
- Set the device down somewhere cool and well-ventilated, away from direct sunlight or heat sources
- Wait 5 to 10 minutes to allow the internal temperature to drop back to a safe level
- Power the device back on and try a short test puff; if the red flash does not repeat, the device is ready to use again
- To prevent the issue recurring, take shorter puffs and allow a few seconds between each one, and keep individual puffs under 8 seconds to stay within the device's safety cut-off limit
- If the three red flashes continue after the cool-down period, stop using the device and contact OXVA support or the retailer, as there may be a fault requiring professional assessment
