NeXLIM 2 Mini: Device not detecting the pod or shows no atomiser
Last updated
The device fails to recognise the pod when it is inserted, or displays a no atomiser warning. The device will not fire until the pod is detected.
Why this happens
- Dirty or contaminated contact pins on the device or the pod base, the most common cause as the cross-gold pins pick up e-liquid residue and grime with regular use
- Poor connection caused by the pod not being seated fully or correctly
- A faulty or damaged pod that is not making proper contact
How to fix it
- Remove the pod from the device
- Using a clean dry cloth or a cloth lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol, carefully clean the contact pins on the device and the metal contacts on the base of the pod, removing any e-liquid residue or debris
- Allow the pins to dry fully before reinserting the pod
- Reinsert the pod firmly until it seats securely in the device
- If the device still shows no atomiser, try a different pod to rule out a faulty cartridge
- If a replacement pod also fails to be detected, contact OXVA or your retailer for further support
Replacement pods and coils
Worn pods and coils cause most of these faults. We stock the parts that fit the NeXLIM 2 Mini.
Other NeXLIM 2 Mini problems
- Blue light flashes 3 times and device stops working The blue LED flashes 3 times and the device cuts out mid-vape. This happens when a single draw or button press exceeds the built-in time limit.
- Colourful light flashes while in boost mode The LED on your device flashes in multiple colours while boost mode is active. This is a deliberate signal from the device, not a fault or error.
- Light flashes and shows short circuit The red light flashes 3 times and the device stops firing. This indicates a short circuit has been detected and the built-in protection has cut power to keep you safe.
- Red light flashes 3 times and device stops working The LED flashes red three times and the device cuts out mid-vape. This is the built-in high-temperature protection triggering to keep the device safe.
