Xlim 3 Ultra: Not charging or unsure what the charging light means

The device does not appear to charge when plugged in, or you are unsure whether the LED indicator means it is charging or fully charged.

Why this happens

  • Dust, lint or debris in the Type-C port blocking a proper connection
  • A faulty or incompatible USB cable preventing charge from reaching the device
  • Incompatible or non-recommended charging equipment supplying incorrect power
  • Misreading the LED: the light being off does not always mean a fault

How to fix it

  1. Check the Type-C port on the device for dust or debris and clean it carefully before connecting a cable.
  2. Plug in via the Type-C port and look at the LED: if it lights up, the device is charging normally.
  3. If the LED does not light up, try a different USB cable, as the original cable may be faulty.
  4. Make sure you are using only recommended charging equipment, not a fast-charger or third-party adapter that may not be compatible.
  5. Once the LED goes off during charging, the device is fully charged, this is normal behaviour and not a fault.
  6. If the device still does not charge after trying a clean port, a different cable and recommended equipment, stop using it and contact the retailer or OXVA support for further assistance.
