Nera 15K: Understanding the battery and charging indicator lights

The LED screen is showing icons or percentages you are not sure how to read, or you cannot tell whether the device is charging correctly.

Why this happens

  • The LED display combines battery level, output mode and e-liquid status in one screen, which can be confusing at first glance
  • A pulsing or animated battery icon simply means the device is actively charging
  • A static percentage that rises over time also confirms charging is underway
  • No change to the display after plugging in usually points to a connection issue rather than a fault with the device itself

How to fix it

  1. Plug the device in and watch the LED screen for the first 30 seconds. A pulsing or animated battery icon confirms charging has started.
  2. If the icon is not animated, check whether the percentage figure is rising slowly. A climbing static percentage is equally valid confirmation that charging is working.
  3. If neither the icon nor the percentage changes after a full minute, unplug and check the cable and port for debris or a loose fit, then reconnect firmly.
  4. Try a different USB cable or charging port (a wall adapter rather than a laptop port, for example) to rule out a power-source issue.
  5. Once the display reads 100%, unplug promptly. Leaving the device on charge beyond full does not speed anything up and can affect long-term battery health.
