Argus P3: Check atomiser warning or pod not recognised
The device displays a 'Check Atomiser' warning or fails to recognise the pod when you insert it. It will not fire until the issue is resolved.
Why this happens
- Dirty or e-liquid-contaminated contacts on the pod or device, preventing a clean electrical connection
- Condensate or juice inside the auto-draw sensor or device cavity, interfering with detection
- The pod is seated incorrectly or at the wrong orientation
- A faulty or incompatible pod or coil
How to fix it
- Remove the pod and inspect the metal contacts on both the pod and the device. Use a dry cotton bud or folded piece of tissue to wipe away any e-liquid, condensate or residue from both sets of contacts.
- Check the pin or electrode on the device side is not stuck down. It should have a small amount of flex when pressed gently. If it is completely rigid or depressed, the connection cannot be made.
- Clean inside the device cavity and around the auto-draw sensor with a dry cotton bud to remove any liquid that may have pooled there.
- Reinsert the pod, then try rotating it 180 degrees and reinserting again. Some pods seat better in one orientation.
- If the warning persists, try a different pod or coil to rule out a fault with the original one.
- If none of the above steps resolve the issue, contact VooPoo support or your retailer, as the device may need a replacement part or professional inspection.
