Argus Matrix: Screen shows E2 and the light flashes red twice
The screen displays E2 and the indicator light flashes red twice. The device has detected a short circuit and stopped firing as a safety measure.
Why this happens
- Dirty or wet contacts between the pod and the device body, preventing a clean electrical connection
- The pod is not seated correctly or is slightly misaligned
- A faulty or damaged coil inside the pod causing a short circuit
- A faulty pod itself, even with a new coil fitted
How to fix it
- Remove the pod and inspect the electrode contacts on both the pod and the device body. Wipe them clean with a dry cloth or cotton bud to remove any e-liquid residue or debris.
- Reinsert the pod, then try rotating it 180 degrees so it sits in the opposite orientation. This can resolve a poor contact caused by slight misalignment.
- If the E2 error persists, remove the current coil and fit a fresh replacement coil, then reseat the pod and test again.
- If a new coil does not clear the error, try a different pod entirely. If the error clears with a different pod, the original pod is faulty.
- If none of the above steps resolve the E2 error, the device may have an internal fault. Stop using it and contact VooPoo support or your retailer for further assistance.
