Argus G4 Mini: Weak vapour or poor performance when vaping
Vapour production feels noticeably thin or weak, and flavour has dropped off compared to when the device was working normally.
Why this happens
- Low battery charge reducing power output to the coil
- Wattage setting too low for the fitted coil, resulting in under-powered heating
- A worn or gunked coil that is no longer heating efficiently or reading correctly
How to fix it
- Charge the battery fully before vaping again. A low battery directly reduces the power delivered to the coil, which cuts vapour production even if the wattage setting looks correct.
- Check your wattage setting and confirm it is appropriate for the coil currently fitted. If the coil has a recommended wattage range printed on it, set the device within that range. If the value is unknown, refer to the coil packaging or check TBC in the device documentation.
- If the battery is charged and the wattage is correct but flavour and vapour are still poor, replace the coil. A gunked or worn coil will not heat evenly and no amount of wattage adjustment will recover its performance.
