Xlim Go 2: Device not detecting the pod or showing no atomiser
The device shows a no atomiser error or fails to detect the pod at all, even when the pod is seated. It will not fire or produce any vapour.
Why this happens
- Dirty or contaminated contact pins on the device or the pod base, the most common cause according to OXVA's own guidance
- A faulty or damaged pod that the device cannot read correctly
- The pod not being seated firmly enough in the device
How to fix it
- Remove the pod and inspect the gold contact pins on the bottom of the pod and inside the device bay. Use a clean dry cloth or a cloth lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol to wipe both sets of pins thoroughly. Allow them to dry completely before reinserting the pod.
- Reseat the pod firmly, pressing it down until it clicks into place, then try firing again.
- If the error persists after cleaning, try a different pod to rule out a faulty cartridge. If a new pod is detected correctly, the original pod is the likely cause.
- If no pod is detected even after cleaning and swapping pods, contact the retailer for further support, as the issue may be with the device's internal connection.
