Vinci E120: Airflow feels tight or restricted

The draw feels noticeably tighter than expected, making it harder to pull vapour through the device. This can happen straight out of the box or after a pod change.

Why this happens

  • The pod has not been rotated to open the airflow to your preferred setting, which is the most common reason for a restricted draw
  • The auto-draw sensor or airflow channel is blocked by condensation or e-liquid residue
  • The coil has not been seated correctly at the base of the pod, partially obstructing airflow

How to fix it

  1. Rotate the pod on the device to adjust the airflow opening. The pod is designed to be turned to find the position that suits your draw style, from a tighter mouth-to-lung feel to a more open setting.
  2. Remove the pod and check the auto-draw sensor and the airflow inlet on the device body for any e-liquid residue or condensation. Wipe both clean with a dry cloth or cotton bud, then refit the pod.
  3. Remove the pod and check the coil is fully inserted from the bottom and sits level with the base of the pod. A coil that is not fully seated can restrict airflow through the pod.
  4. If none of the above steps resolve the issue, try a fresh coil to rule out a blocked or defective coil as the cause.
