Vinci E120: Low Power or Check Battery warning on screen

The screen is showing a Low Power or Check Battery warning and the device may be cutting out or refusing to fire. This usually means the battery needs attention before you can vape normally again.

Why this happens

  • Battery is depleted or critically low after normal use
  • Battery has been over-discharged from sitting unused for an extended period without top-up charges
  • The fitted coil has a low resistance that is drawing more current than the battery can currently supply

How to fix it

  1. Charge the device immediately using a 5V/2A charger and a Type-C cable. Use the cable supplied with the device where possible, and charge indoors with a UL-certified USB charger only. Leave it to charge fully before attempting to vape.
  2. If the warning reappears after a full charge, swap to a coil with a higher resistance rating. A lower-resistance coil pulls more power and can trigger this warning if the battery is under any strain.
  3. If you have not used the device for a long period, the battery may have over-discharged. Charge it as above and allow a full, uninterrupted charge cycle. Going forward, top up the charge every few weeks during any storage period to prevent this happening again.
  4. If the Low Power or Check Battery warning persists after a full charge and a coil change, the battery may need professional assessment. Do not attempt to open or modify the device.
