How to choose your VooPoo Argus
The Argus kits share the same DNA, refillable pods and adjustable output, but the battery size, pod capacity and vaping style shift enough between models to matter. Here's what actually changes.
If you want small and light: G3 Mini or G4 Mini
Both mini kits run a 1350 mAh battery, adjustable wattage and the Gene AI.2.0 chipset, built for MTL and RDL vaping in a body that disappears in a pocket. Pick between them on looks and colourway, the core spec is the same.
If you want the everyday all-rounder: G3 30W or Argus P3
The G3 30W and the Argus P3 both pair a 1500 mAh battery with a 2ml pod and adjustable wattage, and both cover MTL and RDL vaping. Genuinely near-identical on paper, so choose whichever finish suits you and don't overthink it.
If you want more runtime without changing how it vapes: Argus G4
Step up to a 1650 mAh battery with the same 2ml pod, adjustable wattage and MTL/RDL vaping style as the smaller kits. Same easy daily use, just more battery between charges.
If you want a looser, airier draw: Argus E40
The E40 is the odd one out here, an 1800 mAh battery, adjustable wattage and DTL/RDL vaping style rather than pure MTL. If a tighter mouth-to-lung pull isn't what you're after, this is the Argus built for a more open draw.
If you'd rather set power than wattage: Argus Matrix
The Matrix uses Adjustable Power instead of adjustable wattage, on a 1350 mAh battery with RDL/MTL vaping. It's a different way of dialling in your vape, worth a look if you like having that control.
Keeping any Argus running: pods and cartridges
Once you've picked a kit, the pods are just as important. The Argus Snap Pod Cartridges (2ml/XL, pack of 3) and the Top Fill V2 Replacement Pod Cartridges (2ml/XL, pack of 3) suit MTL/RDL vaping, the E40 Pod Cartridges (XL, pack of 2) and E40 PNP-X Empty Pod Cartridges are built for the E40's DTL/RDL setup. All are refillable, so buy a couple of spares and rotate them while one airs out. In day to day use, most vapers find topping up through the side fill takes seconds, and a pod will comfortably see you through a full tank before it's worth swapping.
Our take
If you want the smallest kit for daily carry, take the G3 Mini or G4 Mini. If you want a dependable everyday MTL vape, take the G3 30W or P3. If you want more battery without changing the feel, take the G4. If you want a looser, DTL-leaning draw, take the E40. If you want direct power control, take the Matrix. Stock up on refillable pod kits accessories and pair your kit with a nic salt for MTL pulls or a shortfill for the E40's airier draw.
