Description
VAPORESSO GTX Coils
These are the replacement coils for the VAPORESSO GTX coil platform, supplied as a pack of 5. Pick from mesh coils or dual mesh coils, with resistances running from 0.15ohm up to 1.2ohm. Dual mesh is offered in 0.15ohm, 0.2ohm and 0.3ohm.
Each coil uses a mesh heating design with a larger heating surface area, wrapped around a microfibre cotton wick, and comes with red o-rings. If your kit uses a GTX coil and the taste has gone flat or burnt, this is the part you need to swap.
Which kits it fits
The coils are listed for LUXE, GEN and GTX devices. In more detail:
- The 0.15ohm to 0.8ohm mesh coils fit the SWAG PX80, TARGET PM80, TARGET PM80 SE and GEN NANO.
- The 0.6ohm and 0.8ohm coils also list the LUXE PM40, TARGET PM30 and GTX ONE.
Resistances differ slightly in which kits they list, so check your kit against the resistance you are choosing before you order. If your kit is not named here, we do not claim it fits.
Choosing your resistance
Resistance sets the feel of the draw. Lower resistance coils give a warmer, airier draw with more vapour, and they suit higher VG e-liquid. The 0.15ohm, 0.2ohm, 0.3ohm and 0.4ohm coils are listed as direct-to-lung (DTL) coils. As a guide, the 0.15ohm mesh coil runs at 60-75W (70W is a good starting point), the 0.2ohm at 45-60W (around 55W) and the 0.3ohm at 32-45W (around 40W). The 0.4ohm sits at 26-32W.
Higher resistance coils give a tighter, cooler mouth-to-lung (MTL) style draw, and they suit nic salts and more balanced PG/VG e-liquids. The 0.6ohm, 0.8ohm and 1.2ohm mesh coils are the ones to look at here, and the 0.8ohm runs at a gentle 12-16W. The dual mesh coils are available at the lower end, in 0.15ohm, 0.2ohm and 0.3ohm, for those who want a DTL draw.

VAPORESSO GTX Coils FAQs
Which kits do VAPORESSO GTX coils fit?
They are listed for LUXE, GEN and GTX devices. The 0.15ohm to 0.8ohm mesh coils fit the SWAG PX80, TARGET PM80, TARGET PM80 SE and GEN NANO. The 0.6ohm and 0.8ohm coils also list LUXE PM40, TARGET PM30 and GTX ONE.
Which GTX coil resistance should I choose?
It depends on your draw. The 0.15ohm, 0.2ohm, 0.3ohm and 0.4ohm coils are DTL coils for a warmer, airier draw with higher VG e-liquid. Higher resistances up to 1.2ohm give a tighter MTL-style draw that suits nic salts.
Why are my GTX coils burning out fast?
Usually it comes down to priming, wattage or e-liquid. Let a new coil soak for a few minutes, stay within the wattage range for your resistance, and leave a gap between puffs. Very sweet, thick e-liquid can also shorten coil life.
How long do GTX coils last?
There is no fixed figure. Coil life depends on your wattage, how often you vape and the e-liquid you use. Swap the coil when the taste turns flat or burnt, or the vapour thins out, and keep a spare pack to hand.
How many coils come in a pack?
Each pack holds 5 coils, supplied with red o-rings. The dual mesh option contains 5 GTX dual mesh coils. Choose your resistance and mesh type on the product page before adding to your basket.
