How to choose the best vape pod kit
Most of what separates one pod kit from another comes down to three things: how you fill it, how you draw on it, and how big the battery is. Get those three right and the rest is styling.
Refillable or prefilled
If you want control over flavour and strength, and don't mind carrying a bottle, go refillable. Fit it with a nic salt for a smooth MTL hit, or a shortfill if you're vaping at a lower strength with more airflow. If you'd rather never touch a bottle or a coil, a prefilled pod kit does the job with far less thinking involved.
MTL or RDL draw
Most kits here sit somewhere between a tight mouth-to-lung pull and a looser restricted-lung draw, and several switch between the two. If you're new or came from smoking roll-ups, start MTL: it feels closest to a cigarette draw. If you want a bit more vapour and a slightly airier pull without going full sub-ohm, look for kits marked MTL / RDL.
Battery size and how you vape
A smaller battery keeps the kit light and pocketable but means more frequent charging. A bigger one, like the higher mAh options in this range, suits heavier vapers who don't want to think about a charger until the evening. If you vape mostly at a desk or at home, size matters less; if you're out all day, buy bigger.
Fixed power or adjustable wattage
Fixed power kits are genuinely the simpler choice: no menus, no settings, just inhale and go. Adjustable wattage kits let you fine-tune the draw and flavour once you know what you like, which suits anyone who's used a pod kit before and wants more say over the output.
Choosing by brand

In day to day use, we find pods that click or twist into place are quicker to top up than ones with a separate fill port cap, and a mid-size battery is usually the sweet spot: big enough to skip a lunchtime charge, small enough to still feel like a pocket device rather than a mod.
