Uwell Caliburn vape kits and pods
The Uwell Caliburn is a series of refillable pod kits, and every kit here comes from the G3, G4 or G5 generation. We stock eleven, from the 1000mAh G3 Pro to the 2000mAh G4 Pro KOKO, along with GPP Alpha replacement pods that fit ten of them.
What is the Uwell Caliburn?
A refillable pod kit where each 2ml pod has a mesh coil built in. You fill the pod with your own e-liquid, click it into the kit, and fit a fresh pod when the flavour fades. Caliburn kits give a mouth to lung (MTL) or restricted direct lung (RDL) draw, set by the airflow and the pod resistance.
Eleven kits is a lot to choose from, but the G3, G4 and G5 generations share one pod platform, with a single exception. That leaves battery, screen and whether you want a button as the real decisions.

The G4 Mini, G5 Lite and G5 Lite SE have no buttons at all: fill a pod and draw, and the kit sets its own power. The G4 Pro and G5 also fire on the draw, with a touchscreen or a single button for settings.
Caliburn pods
GPP Alpha pods come in packs of four, in 0.4, 0.6, 0.9 and 1.2ohm, and fit every kit here except the G3 Pro KOKO, which takes Caliburn G3 pods. They also fit older G3 kits such as the G3 and G3 Lite. UK pods hold 2ml, and the buying guide below covers which resistance to pick.

1. Choose the kit
Start with whether you want to adjust anything, then how much battery you need.
If you want nothing to set:
- Take the G5 Lite or G5 Lite SE for 1200mAh and auto wattage up to 35W. They are the same kit inside; the SE has a leather-effect finish.
- Take the G4 Mini for 1100mAh and a 0.9ohm pod fitted for a tight mouth to lung draw.
If you want a screen and control:
- Take the G5 if you are not sure. It carries 1600mAh and up to 35W, fires on the draw, and comes with a GPP Alpha pod plus two standard GPP pods.
- Take the G4 Pro KOKO for the longest time between charges, at 2000mAh, with a 2 inch touchscreen and Storm, Waves and Custom modes.
- Take the G4 Pro for the largest screen in the range, a 2.51 inch touchscreen, and a custom power curve across each draw.
- Take the G5 KOKO for 1600mAh in the square KOKO body, fired by button or on the draw.
- Take the G4 or G4 Classic for 1300 or 1400mAh and 5 to 35W. The G4 has an OLED screen, while the Classic uses an LED bar and ships with G3 pods.
- Take the G3 Pro or G3 Pro KOKO for a colour screen on a smaller battery, at 1000 and 1250mAh. The G3 Pro KOKO takes Caliburn G3 pods rather than GPP Alpha.
2. G5 or G4 Pro?
These two are the closest call in the range. Both fire on the draw and run up to 35W; the G4 Pro adds battery and a much bigger screen, while the G5 comes with more pods in the box.

3. Choose the resistance and e-liquid
GPP Alpha pods come in four resistances, and the resistance sets the draw.
- 1.2ohm: the tightest, coolest mouth to lung draw, suited to a 50/50 nic salt.
- 0.9ohm: a classic mouth to lung draw that still favours nic salts.
- 0.6ohm: a looser, RDL-leaning draw, happy with a nic salt or a 50/50 freebase.
- 0.4ohm: the warmest, airiest draw, better with a 50/50 or lower strength freebase.
Keep to 70/30 or thinner. A high VG shortfill wicks too slowly through a 2ml pod coil and tastes burnt.

Which Uwell Caliburn is the best?
The Caliburn G5, for most people. It carries 1600mAh and up to 35W, fires on the draw, and comes with a GPP Alpha pod plus two standard GPP pods. Take the G4 Pro KOKO instead for the biggest battery at 2000mAh, or the G5 Lite if you want no buttons and nothing to set.
Is the Uwell Caliburn a good vape?
Yes, for most people after a refillable pod kit. One pod, the GPP Alpha, fits ten of the eleven kits here in four resistances, and the range runs from a 1100mAh buttonless Mini to a 2000mAh kit with a touchscreen. The trade-off is that the coil is sealed into the pod, so a pack of pods is the running cost rather than a cheaper standalone coil.
Is the Uwell Caliburn discontinued?
Not the range. The Caliburn name carries on through the G3, G4 and G5 kits on this page. The original Caliburn and older models such as the A2, A3 and G2 are not in our range.

What pods fit the Uwell Caliburn?
GPP Alpha pods fit every Caliburn kit here except the G3 Pro KOKO. They come in 0.4, 0.6, 0.9 and 1.2ohm, hold 2ml and are sold in packs of four. The G3 Pro KOKO takes Caliburn G3 pods, and most of the G4 and G5 kits accept G3 pods too. See our GPP Alpha pods.
Do GPP pods fit the Caliburn G3?
Yes. GPP Alpha pods fit the G3, G3 Pro and G3 Lite, as well as the G4 and G5 kits. The one exception on this page is the G3 Pro KOKO, which takes Caliburn G3 pods only.
Do you stock the Caliburn A2, A3 or G2?
No. Those are older Caliburn models, and GPP Alpha pods are not listed for them. For a simple buttonless kit, the nearest here are the G4 Mini and G5 Lite; for a small kit with a screen, the G3 Pro.
How long do Caliburn pods last?
About one to two weeks for most daily vapers, though flavour is a better guide than the calendar. When the taste turns flat or faintly burnt, fit a fresh pod. Sweet liquids wear a coil out fastest, and the 1.2ohm pod tends to last longest.
What are the Caliburn X Ironfist L pods for?
Older Caliburn kits, including the Ironfist L. They come in packs of two and do not fit the G3, G4 or G5 kits on this page, so G-series owners want the GPP Alpha pods instead.
Can I use shortfills in a Uwell Caliburn?
Not really. Caliburn pods are built for nic salts and 50/50 e-liquid. A 70/30 can work on the 0.4ohm pod, but a thick sub-ohm shortfill wicks too slowly through a 2ml pod coil and tastes burnt.
