- Aegis Hero 5: Device is getting hot or stops firing after extended use The device becomes noticeably hot during use and either stops firing or the red light flashes for around 10 seconds. This is the built-in overheat protection cutting in to keep you safe.
- Aegis Legend 5: Battery warning showing or batteries draining unevenly The device is showing a low battery warning or the two batteries appear to be draining at different rates, even after a recent charge.
- Aegis Legend 5: Screen shows atomiser short or no coil detected The screen displays an atomiser short or no coil detected warning and the device refuses to fire. This usually appears immediately after fitting a tank or coil, or after a refill.
- Aegis Mini 5 75W: Tank is gurgling or spitting e-liquid into my mouth When you fire the device or draw on the tank, you hear a wet gurgling sound and get e-liquid spitting into your mouth. This usually means liquid has flooded the coil or is sitting in the chimney where it should not be.
