About Unreal 2
Unreal 2 is the two-fruit range from Unreal, with every bottle pairing a couple of flavours such as strawberry and peach or dark grape and bubblegum. It comes as 100ml shortfills for sub-ohm kits and 10ml nic salts for pod kits, all made in the UK by Dispergo Vaping. The name is printed with a small raised 2, so you will also see it written as Unreal2 or Unreal Squared.
What is Unreal 2?
Unreal 2 is the sister range to Unreal Raspberry. Where Unreal Raspberry builds every flavour on blue raspberry, Unreal 2 starts from a fresh pair of fruits each time, which gives more going on than a single fruit without tipping into dessert.
Unreal 2 flavours
- Strawberry and Peach: ripe strawberry on the inhale, juicy peach on the exhale. Shortfill and nic salt.
- Pineapple and Passionfruit: sweet pineapple with a sharper tropical tang. Shortfill and nic salt.
- Lemon and Raspberry: bright citrus with berry sweetness. Shortfill and nic salt.
- Dark Grape and Bubblegum: jammy grape with a chewy bubblegum finish. Shortfill and nic salt.
- Passionfruit and Grapefruit: tart and tropical. Shortfill.
How to choose your Unreal 2 e-liquid
At a glance
- 100ml shortfills at 70/30 for sub-ohm kits, 10ml nic salts at 50/50 for pod kits
- Most flavours come in both formats, so you can change kit and keep the flavour
- The maker says Unreal 2 nic salts can go into Unreal 2 shortfills in place of nic shots
- Nic salts come in 10mg and 20mg
1. Shortfill or nic salt?
Choose by kit: a 70/30 shortfill in a pod coil wicks too slowly and tastes burnt, and a 50/50 nic salt in a sub-ohm tank tends to flood.
| Unreal 2 shortfill | Unreal 2 nic salt | |
|---|---|---|
| Bottle | 100ml in a 120ml bottle | 10ml |
| VG/PG | 70/30 | 50/50 |
| Nicotine | None added, room for two shots | 10mg or 20mg |
| Made for | Sub-ohm tanks | Pod kits and mouth-to-lung devices |
2. Use Unreal 2 nic salt as your nic shot
This is the useful quirk of the range. The maker says Unreal 2 nic salts can be added to Unreal 2 shortfills, so the nicotine arrives in the same flavour instead of an unflavoured shot that dilutes it. The 120ml bottle has 20ml of space, which takes two 10ml salts; shake the bottle well once both are in.
| What you add to the 100ml | Strength once mixed | VG/PG once mixed |
|---|---|---|
| Two 10mg Unreal 2 nic salts | About 1.7mg | About 67/33 |
| Two 20mg Unreal 2 nic salts | About 3.3mg | About 67/33 |
| Two standard nic shots | About 3mg | Depends on the shot |
3. Pick your pairing
If you like it sweet, start with Strawberry and Peach or Dark Grape and Bubblegum. For something sharper, go for Lemon and Raspberry or Passionfruit and Grapefruit, and Pineapple and Passionfruit covers the tropical side.
Before you buy
- Check whether your kit is a sub-ohm tank or a pod kit
- For a shortfill, add two nic shots or two Unreal 2 nic salts if you want nicotine
- For a nic salt, choose 10mg or 20mg
