Description
Protocol Vape Tech NERV Coils
These are replacement mesh coils for the Protocol Vape Tech NERV setup. Each pack holds three pre-made coils with cotton wicking, so you can swap a worn one out in seconds rather than building anything yourself. They press straight into the bridge kit, with no threading and no fiddly prep.
They are for anyone running a NERV Bridge Kit in a Boro or P-Tank who wants a fresh coil on the shelf. There are four resistances to choose from, so you can pick the one that matches the way you like to vape. This pack is coils only: there is no battery, no e-liquid and no nicotine in it.
Which kits it fits
Fitment comes first, so here it is plainly. NERV coils are made for:
- Boro and P-Tank setups, used with a NERV Bridge Kit
- The Protocol Vape Tech NERV Tank, which takes NERV coils
The NERV Bridge Kit is what lets the coil work as intended, so make sure you have one before you order. If your tank is not a Boro or P-Tank and does not use the NERV Bridge Kit, these coils are not the right part for it.
Choosing your resistance
Resistance decides how the draw feels, and each of the four options here is matched to a different style.
At the higher end, the 1.2ohm coil gives a tight, cooler mouth-to-lung draw and runs at a gentle 7-9W. It is the one to pick if you use nic salts and like a snug, cigarette-style pull.
Moving down, the 0.8ohm coil is a tight restricted direct-to-lung option at 10-14W, and the 0.6ohm coil is a restricted direct-to-lung option at 18-22W. Both give a bit more airflow and vapour than the 1.2ohm without going wide open.
At the lowest end, the 0.4ohm coil is built for direct-to-lung vaping at 28-32W. Expect a warmer, airier draw and the most vapour of the four. It pairs best with higher VG e-liquid.

Protocol Vape Tech NERV Coils FAQs
What do NERV coils fit?
NERV coils fit Boro and P-Tank setups when used with a NERV Bridge Kit. They also suit the Protocol Vape Tech NERV Tank. If your tank does not use the NERV Bridge Kit, these coils will not fit.
Do I need a NERV Bridge Kit to use these coils?
Yes. The coils are designed to press into a dedicated NERV Bridge Kit, and that is how they work in Boro and P-Tanks. This pack contains coils only, so you will need the bridge kit separately.
How many coils come in a pack of Protocol NERV coils?
Each pack contains three pre-made mesh coils in the resistance you choose. They use cotton wicking and press into place, so there is no threading, wrapping or building needed when you swap one in.
Which NERV coil resistance should I choose?
Pick 1.2ohm for a tight mouth-to-lung draw, ideal with nic salts. The 0.8ohm and 0.6ohm are restricted direct-to-lung options, and 0.4ohm is a warmer, airier direct-to-lung coil that suits higher VG e-liquid.
What wattage should I run each NERV coil at?
Run 0.4ohm at 28-32W, 0.6ohm at 18-22W, 0.8ohm at 10-14W and 1.2ohm at 7-9W. Start at the lower end of the range and adjust up until the draw feels right for you.
