9 documented fixes across DotMod devices.
- DotPod Lite: Battery light is low, flashing, or not charging correctly The LED bar is showing a low charge, a single light is flashing, or the device does not appear to be charging as expected when plugged in.
- DotPod Lite: Cuts off mid-draw after a long puff The DotPod Lite stops producing vapour partway through a puff and the LED bar flashes 5 times. It then resets and works normally on the next draw.
- DotPod Lite: Feels hot and shuts down The device becomes uncomfortably hot during use and then shuts itself off. The LED bar flashes rapidly five times over three seconds before the device powers down.
- DotPod Lite: Has battery but won't fire or produce vapour The device shows a charge and powers on, but pressing the button or drawing on the pod produces nothing. No vapour, no airflow, no response from the coil.
- DotPod Lite: LEDs flash 5 times and the device cuts out The LED indicator bar flashes 5 times and the device shuts off mid-use or refuses to fire. This is a built-in protection response, not a random fault.
- DotPod Max: Screen shows 'Check Atomizer' or the device won't fire The screen displays 'Check Atomizer' when you try to fire, or the device simply refuses to fire. This means the device cannot detect the pod or its coil.
- DotPod Max: Screen shows 'Chip Too Hot' and the device has stopped firing The screen is displaying 'Chip Too Hot' and the device has cut out and will not fire. This is a built-in thermal protection kicking in because the internal temperature has reached or exceeded 75°C.
- DotPod Max: Screen shows 'Resistance Too High' and the device won't fire The screen displays 'Resistance Too High' and pressing the fire button does nothing. The device has detected a coil or pod resistance above its supported range and locked out firing as a safety measure.
